At Divina Crianza, we see each child as a capable individual with unique talents and a natural drive to explore the world around them.
Guided by the values of the American Montessori Society (AMS), our mission is to cultivate a warm and stimulating educational environment rooted in Montessori philosophy. We provide a full Spanish immersion experience, designed specifically for toddlers and preschoolers during their most formative years.
Our goal is to support young children in becoming confident, curious, and independent learners ready to face challenges with creativity and a sense of purpose.
We proudly nurture a community where diversity is celebrated and respect for oneself, others, and the Spanish language is at the heart of everything we do.
Placement is based on available space. Toddlers and preschooler classifications are based on child development, and the ages listed below are only a rough guide. In Montessori classrooms, it is traditional to have children of different ages so they can learn and teach each other.
Toddlers: 15 months – 36 months
Pre-k: 3 Years – 6 Years
The Montessori Method was developed in the early 1900s by Dr. Maria Montessori an Italian physician, educator, scientist, and visionary. Her deep observations of children led her to design an approach that respects their natural development, independence, and curiosity.
She opened the first Casa dei Bambini (“Children’s House”) in Rome on January 6, 1907. Within just a few months, her revolutionary method showed remarkable results: children engaged in meaningful activities with focus, self-discipline, and joy. This captured global attention.
By 1911, Montessori schools had already spread across continents, including the United States planting the seeds of an educational movement that continues to grow worldwide.
At Divina Crianza, we are proud to build on this legacy, offering a curriculum rooted in Maria Montessori’s vision: one that nurtures the whole child mind, body, and spirit through purposeful work and exploration.
Practical Life consists of activities that the child will encounter in daily life. The Practical Life materials and activities help the child become independent, refine and coordinate movements, learn and master new skills, and interact positively with others.
The Sensorial area of our Montessori curriculum is designed to awaken and refine the five senses sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell laying the foundation for deeper cognitive development.
Through hands-on exploration with carefully crafted Montessori materials, children learn to classify, compare, and make sense of the world around them. They engage with objects that vary in size, shape, color, texture, sound, temperature, scent, and flavor building not only sensory awareness but also attention to detail and concentration.
This rich sensory experience nurtures the child’s ability to observe, analyze, and make thoughtful choices skills that are essential for all future learning.
Early exposure to a second language offers powerful cognitive and cultural benefits and at Divina Crianza, we embrace this through a full Spanish Immersion experience led by native Spanish-speaking guides.
From the very beginning, children are surrounded by rich, natural language through songs, stories, conversations, and meaningful daily interactions. This immersive environment helps them develop authentic pronunciation, intuitive understanding, and a deep connection with the Spanish language.
Beyond vocabulary, learning another language opens the door to appreciating diverse cultures and perspectives nurturing empathy, curiosity, and global awareness.
We also recognize that language learning is a journey shared by the whole family. That’s why we offer resources and special opportunities for parents to engage in the process supporting and reinforcing the child’s learning at home while building confidence in using Spanish together.
At Divina Crianza, we introduce math as a hands on, joyful exploration. Using carefully designed Montessori materials, children discover mathematical concepts through movement, repetition, and real-life connections.
Rather than memorizing, they experience numbers learning to count, compare quantities, and understand the relationships between them. Step by step, they build a strong foundation in number sense, operations, and problem solving, all at their own rhythm and developmental stage.
This concrete to abstract journey not only fosters confidence with math but also cultivates logical thinking, precision, and a love for discovery.
The program runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
After-school enrollment is currently available.
This program is open from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Our program will also be closed for two weeks each July and the last two weeks of December for necessary facility maintenance, classroom changes, and ongoing staff training.
